Driven insane by government bureaucracy and hierarchy, Gogol’s dark comedy exposes one man’s reality spiralling deeper into a surreal fantasy world. This isn’t your standard performance – conventions will be challenged, regnal power will be subverted, and audiences will leave as bemused as they arrive.
