Somewhere between dance, performance and graphic art, Black Out is a strong and intimate experience. Thousands of black granulated fragments transform the dancers’ world into a moving, pictorial composition that jars as it shifts in response to the light, sound, and movement.
The Dancexchange is a fantastic venue – hosting some of the most cutting edge and immersive in dance and visual movement – providing a platform for an art form so frequently overlooked.
The show from Cie Saire and part of the International Dance Festival of Birmingham, will be playing at the Patrick Centre from the 2nd and 3rd May 2016. Two performances will occur every day at 6:15pm and 8:15pm. More info here.
